inbetweening: draw the lines between two similar drawings along a motion path or an arc. (*keeping the drawings accurate and on model, focus on volume)
tips:
- don’t make your inbetweens too rough
- start with essential points that link action elements (elbows, head, wrists etc.)
- start with the easy bits
- always check the movement consistency
2D but also 3D: awareness of 3 dimensional space. (think of a cube)
smear frames: used to give the illusion of a motion blur. Save time and fun to draw.
clean-up: consistency is important
